EZ sludge systems come in a variety of shapes, sizes and with a variety of options.
Configurations: we offer fully enclosed versions which can be placed into system enclosures or enclosures of their own.
These systems capture and address any vapors emanating from the sludge as well as capture all water that drains from the sludge and directs that water to the appropriate place. These systems come in sizes from a 55 gallon drum to a 14 foot diameter tank or rolloff box.
- Vertical units – these units utilize vertical storage tanks and utilize the additional height to dewater solids faster and often more completely than our horizontal units – depending on the sludge we are dewatering, we can also offer an option to empty the sludge directly into a hopper or rolloff using a bottom hatch. This design also allows the sludge filter to be reused a number of times.
- Horizontal units. These units are mostly offered to be used with low profile dewater boxes or rolloff boxes. These are typically simpler but require that the sludge filter be shipped out with the solids or be emptied on site using an excavator or other means.
- Built on site: we can offer larger units which are horizontal and are enclosed on site using polyethylene or left open. These units can handle large flows of sludge and are ideal for temporary or seasonal applications like dredging or lagoon/pond solids management.
- EZ-AA – Air assist units. Only our enclosed versions are offered with this option. This system utilizes high velocity conditioned air to dewater the solids faster and more completely. Typical dry solids percentages exceed 50% and have gotten as high as 93%
